An Intro to Human Design | Gate 44 | Shadow Work & Upcoming Transits

Today, the Sun moves into Gate 44, the Gate of Alertness. Venus moved into Gate 44 yesterday, and Mercury will enter Gate 44 on the 3rd.

This gate asks us to consider our relationship to our inner knowing around our own potential in certain areas, as well as the potential competence/ability of others. Think of it like having a sixth sense about whether or not you or someone else will be good at something, or whether or not you or someone else is being honest (with themselves or others) about your/their own aptitudes and deficits.

In honor of these current transits, here are some Shadow Work Journal prompts tailored to excavating your relationship to this gate's energy across the six lines. Zero in on your placement, or explore whichever ones speak to you, as we're all experiencing all of the variations of the energy of gate 44 through each of the lines over the course of the coming transits of the Sun, Mercury, & Venus.
